Eyeglass Lenses
Polycarbonate
This is an impact resistance material that will protect your eyes from the harmful UV rays. Also, polycarbonate lenses are thinner and lighter than standard plastic lens’s. This is our recommended choice for most patients
Hi-Index
This type of lens may benefit a patient that has a high prescription because it is a very thin and light weight material. Our staff will help educate each patient on this style to see if it will best suit you.
Transitions
Transitions lenses help optimize your sight in every light as they quickly lighten or darken depending on the amount of UV rays present. They help provide comfort and help preserve the health and wellness of your eyes for the future by blocking 100% of the harmful UV rays. Transitions may not be for everyone, so please ask your optician if Transitions is right for you.
Anti-Reflective
This feature helps gives you crisper and clearer vision by allowing more light into the eye. It also helps patients reduce the amount of reflections produced from the lens. Patients experience this as “glare”, during night time driving, computer or TV using.
** All lens features will be discussed in depth with the optician upon your visit**
