"I remember being fascinated with all of the equipment in my eye doctor's office when I was a little girl. However it was not clear to me that optometry was my calling until after my second year of college. I decided to switch my major to pre-optometry. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Providing comprehensive eye health care and helping people to see their best, is very rewarding. Keeping up with the newest products, research and treatment is a challenge that I truly enjoy every day."

-Darlene graduated from Jackson Community College Medical Receptionist/Billing program. She has been a member of our team since 2006. Darlene is a life long resident of Jackson, who is married with two children and three grandchildren.

-Carol is a graduate of Ferris State University with a B.S. in Marketing. She has been employed in our office since 2004 as a receptionist as well as an Optician. Outside interests include theatre, reading, and traveling.

Denise graduated in 1985 from Jackson Community College with an associate's degree in medical assisting. Denise has over 24 years experience in the eye care industry. She is a board certified ophthalmic technician and has been Dr. Serino's technician since 2001. Other interests include spending time with her family, reading, walking/running, and watching the Detroit Tigers baseball team. |

Kami Marriott-Lab Coordinator
Kami is an optician in our office and has been a part of our team since 2005. She was promoted to lab coordinator in 2008. Kami has always loved working with people and she gets great satisfaction in helping people with their eyewear needs. She is also married with a beautiful daughter. In her free time, she loves to camp and spend time outdoors.

Darci Drain-Special Studies Coordinator
Darci has worked in the eye care industry for 11 years and is a Board Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. In December 2009, she also obtained her certification through the American Board of Opticianry She has been an Optician in our office since 2008. Darci has been married for 15 years and has two children. Her hobbies include playing volleyball, camping and hiking with her family, and an occasional game of golf.

Rose has worked in the optical field for over 23 years. She has been a part of our team since 1990. She is currently in charge of the contact lens department, but has worked in many other departments throughout her time with us. Rose is married, celebrating her 40th anniversary, with two children and three grandchildren. She has a love for crocheting/knitting, making jewelry, and scrapbooking.
